Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto

Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto This was a nice little break from all of our sightseeing in Kyoto. The women that ran the workshop were so sweet and cute it was a delight to watch and listen to them talk about the team ceremony. We enjoyed mixing our matcha! Only wish that the hosts' english was a little better so we could engage in more Q&A.

Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto

Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto If you want to know how to calebrate a tea ceremony, this is your activity. It’s in a very crowded area of Kyoto but it’s like you have been transported to another dimension where you only hear about this ancient activity. The instructors are locals and don’t hesitate to ask about a good place to buy tea after the activity, they have a very good recommendation.

Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto

Enjoy an Authentic Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto I came with average expectations, i thought it would be very traditional maybe a little dull and stiff but its the authentic experience i wanted.
However it was neither dull or stiff. It was beautifully graceful. The time went fast and I felt relaxed after the experience, it reminded me to slow down in my own life and feel the beauty that every movement is capable of offering. Thank guys!
