Hello! I'm Daichi. I traveled around the world for 2 years, and I came back to Japan in August 2015. After coming back to Japan, I've been living in the rural area of Kyoto prefecture. I want to show you real Japan and the countryside.

I'm looking forward to meeting you! Thank you!

Take a day trip to the wonderful rural area of Kyoto

Take a day trip to the wonderful rural area of Kyoto Tour included 1) Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, village with thatched roof traditional houses in a mountain region with small household gardens of flowers/vegetables, few temples. It snowed en route and in the village making the experience special. 2) Ine no Funaya the classic fishing village with neat array of houses dotting the shore. Cloudy to sunny along the way, we reached for sea side lunch under a shower, took a cruise with panoramic views in a drizzle, feeding wild eagles from the top deck, watching them grab food while in graceful flight was ecstatic. 3) Amanohashidate one of the top 3 scenic spots in Japan, we arrived in a drizzle, went up the open chair lift to the hill top to immerse in spectacular nature views under mild sunshine, blue sky adorned with a semi-rainbow, finally came down the chair lift for a calm stroll along the seashore watching sunset and picking up trinkets! Weather was a god send the whole day!
Positive : Amicable, very helpful and easy going host with a very cheerful partner. Flexible with timings and our sundry requests. Provided a comfortable, safe drive while visiting all the 3 places before daylight disappeared.
Could Improve : Meals could be made optional or more choices discussed ahead. If time permitted could offer to stop at interesting spots along the way just to stand and stare at the beauty of rural scenes (next to a creek or under the snowy mountains!)

Take a day trip to the wonderful rural area of Kyoto

Take a day trip to the wonderful rural area of Kyoto I'm the one who don't like crowded places. I have researched before traveling to Japan and I found Daichi's posting that matched exactly the places that I want to go. We had a good time with Daichi, he took us to Amano Hashidate, one of the three famous beauty spots in Japan. In addition to that, we had the chance to eat at a very good local restaurant. Daichi is so nice and friendly. If anyone like custom tour, like to enjoy the beautiful places without having to deal with crowd, I highly recommended this tour.
