When I was a student I flew to Canada and Australia to practice Basketball but, instead, partly due to influence from a friend I met over there, I became interested in fundraising. After returning to Japan and working for a couple of companies, I founded “Dimers Lab” with a friend I met at my previous job “Group on”.

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur Hideaki is very cool guy. He is not only interesting guy to talk to, he is also well-spoken and open-minded. We had great time discussing the concepts of his latest application development. But what really piquet my interest, was his ability to talk about every aspect of Japanese life. Great way to use your time and a few bucks. Highly recommended!

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur When I first saw this offer I was instantly curious about what this guy does. It turned out that not only his business-idea and insights are brilliant but also that he is a super cool guy who knows to entertain. We enjoyed the lunch and talk and are still in contact. By the way: We had Gyuudon at Sukiya which I really liked ^^

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur I had a great time eating dinner with Hideaki. We had some a lot of different Japanese dishes. Tempura, Sashimi etc.

He also did a little presentation for me of his next business idea. I think it's a really interesting idea that has quite a bit of potential.

I recommend anyone interested in startups and anyone just looking to have some good food and a nice chat to have dinner with Hideaki!

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur

Have Coffee with a Japanese Entrepreneur Had a great talk with Hideaki about his business and about startup culture in the Japan and the Netherlands (where I live). He works on very interesting matter and he is a super driven and inspiring person.

We didn't have food however, but went to the Starbucks for a drink - also nice, but it might have been better if it would have been clear beforehand since the description of the activity says "eat food" and it was 7pm.
