產品說明

Bali is not only about beaches and works of art. There are many other interesting and beautiful aspects to our culture, namely our ancient relationship with the natural world. Many of us live in line with the concept of TRI HITA KARANA, which commits us to respecting and working harmoniously with humanity, nature and the Divine. For centuries, we have used a wide range of native plants and herbs for therapeutic, medicinal and health enhancing purposes. On this herb walk, I will take you on a journey around Ubud to explore the prolific plant life that flourishes here. In fact, the name Ubud comes from the word 'ubad', meaning 'medicine', because so many medicinal plants spread wildly in the rice fields. Along the way, I will take you away from the bustle of town, to a hidden place where you will see the natural smiles of farmers planting rice. . You will breathe unpolluted air in nature and I will point out a number of plants used in traditional Balinese medicines and cooking. Familiarize yourself with a wide range of native plants and herbs as I teach you how to make identifications by sight, smell and taste. Along the way, we will also visit an organic farm where we get to see fruits, vegetables and herbs grown without the use of pesticides. Be amazed as local farmers skillfully climb up coconut trees to pick you a coconut to quench your thirst. You will also have the opportunity to taste some delicious jajan (or Balinese local cakes). The journey across the green rice fields with various crops will take a little over 2 hours, with stops along the way to rest, enjoy the scenery and take as many pictures as you'd like.
