My name is I Ketut Sadia
I was born in the traditional fishing village of Pantai Seseh, on the West coast of Bali between Seminyak and Tanah Lot. As a true son of Bali, I grew up very close to the beach and the ocean I have been an avid surfer since I was a teenager. Other side than surf, I have gained, as the best non- surfing industry chief organizer for surf contest 2006 at Canggu Beach, Bali. I’ve done some surfing championship in this area.
Besides surfing, I have always been passionate about the arts and after four years at the most prestigious Art Academy in Ubud, the cultural and artistic heartland of Bali, I graduated in 1994. The special history and culture of my home island streams through my veins and it is a privilege that nowadays I have the opportunity to share this with my clients.
I started my business “Bali Surf Tours”, offering my services as a surf teacher, surfing tour guide and sightseeing tour guide in the year 1999. Over the years I have gained much experience and I consider it a blessing that I now make a living by sharing the knowledge of the secret breaks and my expertise in opening the secret gates to the true Bali experience with others, making more friends along the way.
Matur sukseme.
(Thank you)

Learn to Surf and Ride Bali's Waves

Learn to Surf and Ride Bali's Waves I’ve never been on a better tour. I’m a young 52 year old intermediate surfer, I surfed 4 days out of a weeks holiday with Ketut Sadia and right from the prompt pick up in a modern, air con 4 wheel drive I was impressed. He quickly assessed my ability and surfed 4 different spots each day all up and down the Bali coast, each spot perfect and I surfed the best waves I ever have ever seen. That was part of the experience he knew most of the surfers in the water and I was accepted very warmly even given priority on the waves, he also has a photographer to send you home with proffessional photoes, after the surf we had breakfast at local establishments and they all knew Sadia and treated me to fresh home main local food. During the drives back to my accommodation he would share his wealth of knowledge, stopping at temples, rice paddies, his friends and even his own home, here he would share with me stories on his culture his religion and family. I truly surfing and cultural experience that I can’t recommend him highly enough.take him also as a local guide even if you don’t surf.

Learn to Surf and Ride Bali's Waves

Learn to Surf and Ride Bali's Waves I had hired Bali Surf Tours and Coaches to be our surf guide while staying in Bali. We were promptly picked up at our hotel everyday and taken to the best surf breaks. Our experience was a lot more than just a ride to the breaks. On our drives, we learned so much about the people and their culture. It was fascinating! Sadia, our guide, speaks perfect English and several other languages too. He would point out things of interest and would always stop so I could take photos. He is an excellent surfer and gauged his recommendations to where to go by the surfer’s ability. Besides going to every surfers dream destinations of places like Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Airport Lefts, Dreamland… they took us to little known breaks we would have never seen without a local’s knowledge.

We have previously hired other surf guides while traveling to Costa Rica so we had ideas of what to expect. Bali Surf Tours is a first rate operation that exceeded our expectations!! Although surfing was the most important aspect of our trip it quickly became just a piece of our journey because of Sadia and Made. Every moment of our time together opened our eyes to fascinating places and an interesting culture far different than our own. Even if you are not a surfer I would most HIGHLY recommend them as tour guides. Sit back and let them open your mind to their world.
