Shoot enemies in a free-roam VR experience in Odaiba!

Shoot enemies in a free-roam VR experience in Odaiba! Even without having it in English, it is still a great time, the VR is still very choppy so people with motion sickness def should not do it, other than the choppyness, it was great

Explore on foot the beautiful canal city of Kurashiki

Explore on foot the beautiful canal city of Kurashiki I thoroughly enjoyed my Kurashiki tour with Hisako-san. She was so kind enough to adjust our start time 3 hours earlier (in an hour’s notice) in consideration of the coming typhoon this evening which could potentially stop train service. She communicated very well the history and current story of Kurashiki which gave me a greater appreciation for this beautiful city. She cheerfully and patiently took my souvenir photos everywhere and made my tour so worthwhile. There was art, culture, history, shopping, food. Hisako-san also recommended a lovely meal at the Ryokan Kurashiki and peach parfait around next it. Loved this tour! Thank you, Kana-san and Voyagin for this!

Just a note for Voyagin was curious why the 4 hour Kurashiki tour is about the same price as the 7 hour Kobe tour... if there was a misprint somewhere.

Explore the beautiful port city Kobe with a private guide

Explore the beautiful port city Kobe with a private guide I had a very fruitful time in Kobe, thankful that Toshiko-san was very flexible to accommodate my requests for my desired activities: fruit-picking at FFP, explore Arima-onsen, and visit Rokko-san. She gave me very prompt replies on email before I arrived and thorough briefing about our stops specially the onsen. She was also very kind to consider that the original day I requested for the tour ended up with a highly likely rain so we were able to adjust to a better-weather forecast day. Thank you, Toshiko-san and Voyagin for broadening my Japan experience in a fun way! I must say Kana-san of Voyagin was also very very helpful with responding to my inquiries.

Explore the countryside and rural beauty of Noto Peninsula!

Explore the countryside and rural beauty of Noto Peninsula! This was a wonderful experience-- I got to see a lesser-known part of Japan first hand, full of ruggedly beautiful landscapes and interesting cultural sites. I chose the Wakuraonsen route since I was staying in Kanazawa. The Ganmon rocks and Myojoji Temple were particular highlights. Can't recommend this enough!

Get Tickets to Kawachi Fuji Garden, Wisterias in Fukuoka!

Get Tickets to Kawachi Fuji Garden, Wisterias in Fukuoka! You can get these tickets at any 7/11 in Japan for ~$5 (500 yen) each. I had an injury mid-trip that forced me to miss my Voyagin reservation and forfeit the $48 I paid them — but when I contacted Customer Support asking for help rescheduling, my Voyagin “Concierge” simply apologized for my injury & said new ticket delivery would be impossible at that late date, that they could not help me get new ones — and neglected to tell me I could get these tickets myself on any street corner. But I was so crushed to be missing the wisteria tunnel that I kept checking, and then I found out on my own how to do it. Just walk out the door of your hotel and any 7/11 has a machine through which to buy tickets for most attractions in Japan - including this one. It’s pretty easy even without knowing the language. There is a picture you select of the wisteria tunnel, select your time and date, take the printout the machine gives you, and then just pay at the counter where they hand you the tickets. It’s a slight help to have Voyagin do this for you if you don’t speak Japanese (& I don’t) and they did deliver my original tickets seamlessly to my hotel so that they were there perfectly on time waiting for me when I arrived in Tokyo — but realize you’re paying over a 4x markup for that (unrefundable) benefit alone, with none of that margin going toward customer service to help you if your plans abroad go awry.
