Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise If you are looking for a hassle-free Ayutthaya day tour, then I highly suggest you book your tout with Voyagin. They are very responsive with your quesries and the tour itself was good. The driver/tourguide was very efficient. Although it rained a bit when we went there, gladly we were able to finish our tour by the time it rained.

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise I really enjoyed the places we visited. Mostly consistent with the tour description. The tour guide was knowleable. The issue was with the logistics and services provided. The van that pick us up at the hotel did not have a working air condition (major issue when the temperatures outside are extremely hot). There was no water provided and no guidance on the tour description to bring water. Also, no guidance was provided regarding the attire needed to enter the temple, so had to buy a clothing wrap at the entrance. At the elephant stop, it would have been great to have the option to ride the elephants. Finally at the restaurant, where then"typical Thai" meal was included, the food options were bad and there was no drink included, even water. You had to buy water from the restaurant,

The Bridge on the River Kwai & JEATH War Museum - 1 Day Tour

The Bridge on the River Kwai & JEATH War Museum - 1 Day Tour There is no other easy way you can go Kwai, visit museum and also take the ride of death railway by yourself on a single day. However, this place is worth staying overnight. So, considering that this is not the best option in general.
The problem I gave 1 star is the service I had been delivered by the team. First, there were only me and one couple in the tour. The couple asked driver to take them 1 hour later and I had not been notified about this, so I waited that couple 1 hour at their hotel lobby!
There are two War museums one being close to Kwai Bridge. The driver didn't inform us about this, so we couldn't see there. The old train is in that location. Third, he told us it would be better pay 200 THB more in order to not stand during train journey. Unfortunately, that was a big lie. The place they take you for dinner is really bad and they treat you real bad. Lastly, considering we are three, we were expecting little flexibility such as taking to Hell-fire Pass, unfortunately it did not happen.

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise This tour is the not best option for experiencing three of things individually; but considering you first visit summer palace and then visit three temples in Ayutthaya (most important ones) and then enjoy a cruise to Bangkok with buffet dinner (not only Thai food), it makes this tour as the most appropriate option.. However, if you are only looking to discover Ayutthaya, you should go there with train by yourself. It will cost you more (you may have to rent a bike and pay entrance fees for each temple seperately), but you will be more flexible..

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise

Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park Full Day Tour + Cruise We were very disappointed on the meetup arrangement. We were there early in the morning and didn't see any Voyagin sign. The email just mentioned "please meet us 7.15 AM @ river city shopping complex, Siphraya, next to Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel". We asked the people there and couldnt get any help. We have waited there for at least 20min till around 7.25am, a woman approached us to confirm our name for the day trip tour.

For this day trip tour, we went to 2 places only and the time allocated to Wat Mahathat was way to short. We only had 30 mins.

Personally i think Bang Pa-In Summer Palace is not particularly a great sight seeing spot, except for the Floating Pavilion and Chinese pavilion. The compound is huge and we just managed to walk till the Chinese pavilion. That's it.

The plus point is we quite enjoyed the cruise while on the way back to Bangkok. But the lunch buffet was just OK...

Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise Bangkok by Loy Nava Dinner Cruise

Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise Bangkok by Loy Nava Dinner Cruise Booking on the Voyagin website was quick and easy. The pickup was timely and convenient especially in a big city like Bangkok! The cruise was really refreshing as we could lay back, enjoy the views, and watch some traditional Thai dances by the cruise performers. The food was a bit disappointing (we had a set course meal). Although the variety of dishes was large, the food was subpar compared to other food we had eaten during our 1 month trip. The waiters were quick and helpful though so getting your drinks were no problem!
