Watch Early Morning Sumo Training in Tokyo at a Sumo Stable

Watch Early Morning Sumo Training in Tokyo at a Sumo Stable Our guide wrote great insightful comments throughout the practice. We learned about the purpose of training drills and the significance of different sumo belts and hair styles. I really recommend this experience. It was fascinating to watch. Be prepared to sit on the floor and it may be hot. You’re allowed to drink water though. Thanks for a great guide!

Dress in Kimono & take pictures at the Shibuya crossing

Dress in Kimono & take pictures at the Shibuya crossing The staff are amazing. They are so kind and warm.
We started off by getting dressed in a yukata, we could pick our own! They have so many beautiful ones to choose from. Then they styled our hair and it was fantastic! It's been 8 hours since and my hair is still intact :)
They took us around Shibuya and took lots of pictures for us, it was a lot of fun.

    HIghly recommend!

Enjoy an Elegant Tea Ceremony Experience in Ginza, Tokyo

Enjoy an Elegant Tea Ceremony Experience in Ginza, Tokyo Thank you very much Rie for such a beautiful tea ceremony experience! There was a small group of us but she made us all feel very welcome and comfortable. We watched a short video on the history of tea ceremony which was really interesting and we then went through the entire tea ceremony ritual from milling our own matcha, to cleansing our hands, to enjoying matcha. Rie performed the ceremony and the tea was おいしい! It has a slight bitterness to it and so to balance out the flavours you are given wagashi, a Japanese sweet. It was incredible to watch her perform the ceremony and after we enjoyed our tea she invited us to try it ourselves. Very kind, welcoming and informative. Highly recommend this experience.

    ありがとうございました Rie!
