20% OFF Become a Lolita in Harajuku The staff are GREAT! Would like to thank Everyone! Specially the makeup artist Ranran & Photographer Keita. You have dresses and styles to choose from, i like the brands specially Alice and the Pirates. The studio and place it self was smaller than expected and on ground floor but its fine, make sure to check the exact address before going. My size is US 12-16 this year. i look way younger in my photos lol <3 <3 <3

Learn to Play the Taiko drum in Tokyo!

Learn to Play the Taiko drum in Tokyo! I was amazed by a Taiko performance during my visit to Yasaka Shrine before. The strong beats and the sense of unity were so impressive that I was moved to tears. Since then, I had always wanted to play Taiko and felt it with my soul... This class gave me exactly what I wanted!

Master Miyauchi is a friendly, encouraging and funny teacher. I am weak at playing instruments without score but under his inspiring teaching, I was able to complete several beats and a wonderful piece named “Kairaku” with his regular class students. Together with the dance-like postures, I was in high spirit throughout the lesson. It was so much fun!

The regular class students were very nice and welcoming. Their performances were great and full of enthusiasm. I want to be one of them too!

This class is one of my most memorable experiences! I hope I will have the chance to attend it again with my father who also has keen interest of playing Taiko.

Wear a Kimono at a traditional house in the Bonsai Museum

Wear a Kimono at a traditional house in the Bonsai Museum The host and her mom are very nice as well as everyone else there :)

Lovely furisode or long sleeves kimonos and with 3 choices of colors including light blue, autumn colors red, and orange. They gave us time to take photos :)

I loved the bonsai museum / garden, they have won many contests locally and internationally! So many trophies. I love bonsai trees and i went to korea jeju botanical gardens and the bonsai they have in my opinion is prettier and also the koi garden was beautiful, biggest koi fishes i have seen.

So recommended! The only set back its kind of far from tokyo like studio ghibli but its all worth it!
