Dress in a real silk Kimono near Nagoya

Dress in a real silk Kimono near Nagoya I enjoyed this so much! Not just getting to wear the kimono that is professionally fitted on you but for meeting the ladies behind it. They were so welcoming from the beginning and it was nice to sit down and have tea with them after. They explained kimono and other Japanese history and cultural questions I had. It was so lovely being welcomed into someone’s home, thanks so much. Arigato gozaimasu, Hejime mashte.

See a traditional tea-serving robot & latest robots, Nagoya Playing with the tradional tea serving doll was a lot of fun, and it was very cool to then fast forward to meet a social robot with the latest technology. Hiroshi is a fantastic host - very knowledgable and passionate!

Dress in a real silk Kimono near Nagoya

Dress in a real silk Kimono near Nagoya Both Akiko-san and Hisae-san were very welcoming. Hisae-san picked me up from the station and dropped me off afterward too.

Hisae-san was pleased to share her love of kimono. She even showed me how to wear a Yukata properly. She was very knowledgable.
I can say for certainty I made a new friend today.

    Thank you very much!
