Mt. Fuji & Hakone 1-Day Tour with Lake Ashi Cruise

Mt. Fuji & Hakone 1-Day Tour with Lake Ashi Cruise The tour was great and the bus rides were riddled with facts about the history of Japan.

However, majority o the tour is bus rides. We spent very little time at the sites themselves. No one wants to pay 60$ for a tour that is, well, bus rides.

The lunch we had was fantastic! It may as well have been 3 or 4 star food! That's how delicious it was.

Because of the lack of time, it may be difficult to get the photos of Mt. Fuji you hope for, so move swiftly. Don't get distracted by the souvenirs at Mt. Fuji! They are expensive and can be found for much better prices in various parts of Tokyo. However, if you want to get the Mt. Fuji shaped water bottles, by all means. They're very cool.

If you have the opportunity to do the ropeway, don't let the clouds stop you from exploring. Also, step away from the group and just do it! Otherwise you'll miss the treasure(s) of the mountain.

I am not certain I would recommend this tour. Although the amenities are very convenient, the amount of time spent at the attractions is minimal. You may be better off doing two separate tours in the area. But, if it's enough for you to get there, feel the rush of not wanting to miss the bus and quickly view the insanely beautiful scenery, then do this tour! But keep your phone or camera out at all times! You never know when you'll catch or miss something worth while.
