Enjoy Sagano Trocco, Stroll Arashiyama&River Boat Ride,Kyoto

Enjoy Sagano Trocco, Stroll Arashiyama&River Boat Ride,Kyoto The day started early meeting our guide, went on a train to meet the boat which involved a horse and carriage ride to hop on the traditional boat for a trip back down the river. This was an amazing ride with the chaps with the oar and long pole guiding the boat over the rough water, ending at a magnificent temple and bamboo forrest. Highly recommend this adventure

Go on a Hiking tour from Umagaeshi to 5th station on Mt.Fuji I had a really good day. I was not able to complete the hike, but the guide was able to change the tour on the spot for me and take me to some great spots around Mt fuji.

I would highly recommend this tour and the guide.

Explore Aokigahara, the Sea of Beautiful Trees!

Explore Aokigahara, the Sea of Beautiful Trees! Our guide was Yamamoto Etsuo-san, who was incredibly kind and informative. We went into caves formed by the lava eruption, which was simply amazing to see. There was still ice from the winter in one of the caves, which was so hard to comprehend on a 65-70 degree day! The forest itself was stunning and he was very patient with me/us as our tired legs from other adventures pushed on. He showed us the path and wonderful details along the way. At the top of your journey, you get to sit for a minute and look out at the entire Fuji Five Lakes area with Fujisan looking over you. You catch your breath, drink some water, eat some of the food you brought with you, look out over the landscape....truly incredible. Could not have asked for a better experience.

When he tells you to bring gloves...DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR GLOVES! You will be crawling on the floor of the caves and will need your hands for balancing yourself, and the texture of the lava is very rough and will hurt you should you slip. On the descent at the end of your day, gloves are also a good idea to hang onto the support ropes (rough material that burns your hand if you slip) or lean against trees for support.

A lovely memory of Japan's beauty, and a wonderful guide. Thank you, Yamamoto-san!

Explore Aokigahara, the Sea of Beautiful Trees!

Explore Aokigahara, the Sea of Beautiful Trees! Yoko was a great guide . When she realised I'm coming with my parents and my young Son she arranged the tour to suit our needs as they would not have the energy to track through the whole walking trip. She even came with her own transport so we will not need to take the public transport during the Japanese golden week holidays. We went to the music forest which was a delight . All in all it was a fabulous trip and we have a great time . Thanks yoko !
