Sakura Cherry Blossoms Cruise with a glass of Rosé!

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Cruise with a glass of Rosé! We boarded the last sakura dinner cruise for 2017. It was certainly an experience with excellent service provided by the boat service crew. They offered me juice when they noticed that I wasn't taking any of the alcoholic or soft drinks that are included as part of the cruise package. It was a nice gesture and speaks volumes of the Japanese service culture. As it was night time, I personally feel the afternoon cruise would have been much better. So this means another sakura cruise next year :)

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Night Cruise on Sumida River Tokyo!

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Night Cruise on Sumida River Tokyo! The cruise standing area at the open area is small and can get over crowded for photo taking.

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Night Cruise on Sumida River Tokyo!

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Night Cruise on Sumida River Tokyo! My sister and I were very disappointed with this cruise.
When we boarded the boat we sat on the left side since the right side was full.
I figured that once the boat turned around we would get a nice view of the trees and lights.
That didn't happen. When the boat turned around it didn't go close enough to the shore to even see the pretty trees and lights. So basically we spent $50 per person to sit on a boat for 45 minutes and ate a bento box and drank a soda.
I would have liked just walking down the river and looking up at the trees and lights.

Cherry Blossom Tour – Half Day Sakura Highlights by Bus

Cherry Blossom Tour – Half Day Sakura Highlights by Bus The tour was O.K - We went to 2 places for cherry blossom viewing : Asakusa and Hamarikyu Gardens. The tour guide was very helpful and informational.

However the cherry blossoms in Asakusa were much better than Hamarikyu! .. They can replace Hamarikyu with better spots like Ueno Park or Imperial Palace! A bit disappointed there!

An average experience for Me :-)
