Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo

Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo For those who want to do something a bit wild, this is the right experience! I went rafting on the Tama river a year earlier, and I found that a bit too tame. This definitely was a lot more exciting, even though it was quite scary too at times as the river was in a strong condition.

We enjoyed the good service, lunch was very nice and as we were with a small group it was quite a private experience. I also liked the warm shower in the club house a lot.

Our advice: bring something to eat in the morning as there are no convenience stores nearby, and be prepared for some fast going water!

Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo

Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo This a really fun way to go down the River in Tama. The water is refreshing but not too cold and the wetsuit or even semi-dry suit options are very warm so you can do it any time of the year. The rapids were challenging but fun, and all around a good workout :)

Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo

Hydrospeed (Riverboarding) on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo One of the most fun activity I've done in Tokyo. The scenery was impeccable. The host spoke good English and conducted safety training with ease. They were so well prepared that we even had miso soup while floating. A must do if you're into adventure sport!

Enjoy Snorkeling with Whale Sharks in Okinawa!

Enjoy Snorkeling with Whale Sharks in Okinawa! Instructor was very kind and very patient with my fiancé and I! Instruction on how to scuba wasn’t long at all and not as thorough as I wish it had been considering it was my first time scuba diving. It was challenging and a little closterphobic learning how to breathe properly. If you don’t have a waterproof phone or camera, they have one you can rent and buy the SD card which is very convenient! There were two whale sharks close enough to touch!! I didn’t expect to get so close! The assisting divers fed the whale sharks and were comical. Very friendly. I would love to do it again. Overall an unforgettable experience!! I definitely recommend!
