Whale watching tour in Okinawa with a high-speed boat!

Whale watching tour in Okinawa with a high-speed boat! We opted for pickup as oppose to getting to the meeting point by ourselves. The bus was prompt, came right on time. We were blessed with a sunny day, so the boat ride was quite calm. There was a little engine fume smell which is understandable, since we sat right at the rear of the boat. The captain and crew took us to various spots to spot the whale. We finally spotted one at the third spot. Still they took us to other spots after the first sighting. And we were able to see the whale quite a few times during this trip. Overall, it was a great experience. We really enjoyed this tour. Our thanks to the captain and crew for a wonderful experience!!

Experience a unique ride on a dog sled in Hokkaido!

Experience a unique ride on a dog sled in Hokkaido! The host was really friendly and nice. He gave advise and information about my next destination and even helped to provide the schedule for the bus. The experience itself was really fun and thrilling. Would highly recommend.

Ride a dog sled, snow mobile and a banana boat near Sapporo!

Ride a dog sled, snow mobile and a banana boat near Sapporo! It was definitely my highlight of my time in Sapporo! The snow mobile was extremely exciting, while the dog sledding could have been a bit longer (and more dogs?). Overall, the staff and activities are definitely worth every penny. Thanks!

1-Day Tour in Nagano: Snow Monkeys, Zenkoji Temple and Sake

1-Day Tour in Nagano: Snow Monkeys, Zenkoji Temple and Sake This was probably the best day of my trip to Japan. I got the shinkansen for Tokyo and was met by my guide Sjaak at Nagona station. We got on a local train which passed through the most beautiful countryside to a small village where a car was waiting to drive us up to the Snow Monkey Park. On the way we pass a Ryokan which was the inspiration for the in featured in Ghibli's Spirited Away, one of my favourite films. I would have been delighted just seeing that but we carried on until we got to the park where we walked through the most amazing forest I've ever seen to the area where the monkeys are. This was such an amazing experience for me, you can get up really close and the day I was there there were quite a few to be seen. After stopping for the we got another train to Zenkoji, a stunning Seen Temple which was great to explore before getting a local bus back to Nagona station where the tour ended. I highly recommend this tour, a real wow moment of my whole trip
