10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike The plus: knowledegeable & friendly guide. Our guides were helpful patient and told us stories about the local area. We still went up despite the heavy rain. We were also given breakfast at the top of the first peak. The guide would have taken us up the higher peak for better view if the weather had been dry
The minus: it rained (stormed) heavily from midnight onwards, so the trek up was not easy nor scenic. It would have been an amazing hike if the weather was nice.
Tips for other travellers: Best to come during dry season, the view would be out of this world! Imagine my photos above without the fogs. Also wear trekking shoes with good grip because the way up is quite steep & slippery (especially after the rain)

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike The place is stunning, the trekking is not that hard in my opinion, except for a slippery part of the trail near the summit. If it's wet because of the rain, it's better. The guides are friendly and careful. Bad note: the path is not private, it was crowdy.

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike Really nice guide and driver. The driver even bought us rain ponchos when the weather was bad. The trip was harder than I thought though, but doable for anyone who really wants it

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

10% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike Thank you very much for the amazing experience. Our guide (Adi, I think his name was) just went out of his way to make sure we all got to the top on time, especially an inexperienced trekker like me. While this is not an extremely difficult trek, it's not that easy too. Make sure you are fit, wearing good shoes, and not carrying too much weight. Thank you again!

Visit the Sekumpul waterfalls - Bali's most beautiful falls!

Visit the Sekumpul waterfalls - Bali's most beautiful falls! Set up a trip to the falls thru Ketut. We got Mr. Wayan as driver. He was excellent - calm, patient and very good driver. He maneuvered around the choatic traffic with calm and ease.

Upon arrival to the falls, they have things set up and team you up with a guide. We met Wigan, a member of the local community. If you're not sure if you need a guide, we were extremely glad we had the additional guidance and support. He was able to interpret local agriculture, provide input on the history of the area, and most important, choose the best climb down the last steps before crossing the river! He actually diverted us away from the well worn steep path, and lead us to another trail about 30 meters, which was much safer. A couple who had not selected a guide, crept slowly behind us, exploiting Wigan's local knowledge and ultimately followed us toward his secret path. I don't think they would have found the path without Wigan's insight.

The susbsequent stops at the coffee plantation was an extraordinary example of ecotourism which should serve as example to other coffee cooperatives around the world. Great presentation and tastings!

    We strongly recommend Voyagin!!
