20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike The speed of the trek is pretty fast so you have to be able to catch up. Amazingly, all the people in our group of 10 people can catch up with the pace including 2 slightly older people in their 50s. It is a pretty gd trip and I will recommend it ! The view is worth it too!!

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike Really great experience, very well organised and an amazing tour. Everything was well communicated in regards to the pick up and drop off. I was a solo traveller so had to pay the extra surcharge, if there was another person being picked up in my area this would have been refunded to me, but unfortunately no other person was being picked up in South Bali. As I was further away, I had to be picked up at 1am but the really early morning start was worth it to see the sun rise over this beautiful island. Our group was quite fast paced so we managed to do this trek under 2 hours, set off at 4am and got to the peak at about 5.50am. Highly recommended!

Refreshing White Water Rafting at Telaga Waja River

Refreshing White Water Rafting at Telaga Waja River Pick-up, sanding, rafting, the guide and food are all good.
But the course was too short than the contract.

It took 1.5 hours to finish the course. But it had to take at least 2.5 hour from the contract.

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike The early morning pick up from Ubud at 2:15 wasnt too bad. 1.5 hour car ride to the bottom of mount Batur to meet another couple who were doing the trek. That was convenient as I was doing it solo travel and was instantly refunded the solo traveler add on fee (top marks for that Voyagin). The hike itself was probably a 3/5 difficult last about 2 hours up and 1.5 hours down. On hindsight, i probably wouldn't have done it on the day i did as it was very clouded and also rain showers. Durign the dry season or on a clear day i am sure the sunrise and views will be amazing. Breakfast at the top was basic but sufficient, monkeys rocked up at 8.00am to steal all the leftovers. all in all it was a cool and enjoyable experience.

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike

20% OFF Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek / Private Path Hike The plus: knowledegeable & friendly guide. Our guides were helpful patient and told us stories about the local area. We still went up despite the heavy rain. We were also given breakfast at the top of the first peak. The guide would have taken us up the higher peak for better view if the weather had been dry
The minus: it rained (stormed) heavily from midnight onwards, so the trek up was not easy nor scenic. It would have been an amazing hike if the weather was nice.
Tips for other travellers: Best to come during dry season, the view would be out of this world! Imagine my photos above without the fogs. Also wear trekking shoes with good grip because the way up is quite steep & slippery (especially after the rain)
