You will absolutely experience Vietnam on this trip, from the forest to the coastline; from mainland to islands all in one trip. An experienced Vietnamese cycle guide will lead the tour. Plus, we will supply detailed route notes and maps so that you will enjoy complete freedom while riding. Brief Itinerary Day1: Sai Gon - Da Lat (40km Cycling) (L,D) Transfer out of the bustling Saigon city to go to Bao Loc, home land of tea plantations; lunch at a local restaurant. Keep transferring to Prenn waterfall for a short rest and sight seeing. Arrive at Dalat city, check in at the hotel and cycle around the undulating city passing by Xuan Huong lake, Da Lat flower garden, Da Lat market, and Mt. Langbiang. Arrive back at the hotel late in the cool evening. Stay overnight in Da Lat. Day2: Da Lat City Tour (60km cycling) (B,L,D) Cycle to the Valley of Love, Bao Dai Palace, Crazy House, and visit the Truc Lam pagoda by cable car. Lunch at a local restaurant. The rest of the day is free for you to do as you please in the cool-climate highland city. Overnight in Da Lat. Day3: Da Lat - Nha Trang (100km cycling) (B,L,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Cycle from the hotel through pine tree forests along the way to the Dien Khanh old citadel. Have a picnic lunch on the way. Transfer the rest when we reach highway 1 to Nha Trang. Visit the Ponagar Cham tower if time permits. Stay overnight in Nha Trang beach city. Day4: Nha Trang - Tuy Hoa (80km cycling) (B,L,D) Early morning swimming at the beach, do Tai Chi with the locals, breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive to Ninh Hoa in 40 minutes. Bike ride over the Co Ma Pass, down hill with a scenic view of the sea and mountains to Dai Lanh sandy beach. A Seafood lunch will be served. Cycle the peaceful roads to Tuy Hoa where will stay overnight. Day5: Tuy Hoa - Quang Ngai (60km cycling) (B,L,D) Transfer a short way to outside the city where today's ride will be along the challenging dirt country roads. After a picnic lunch, the way to the town where we will be staying overnight will be relaxed on an air-conditioned bus. We will stay overnight in Quang Ngai historical city. Day6: Quang Ngai - Hoi An (50km cycling) (B,L,D) Start to ride from the hotel to where the My Lai massacre was in 1968. Then we will visit a school for charity, and cycle to My Khe beach for lunch. We will take the country roads for the afternoon ride, reaching the highway 1 and transfering to Hoi An, an ancient world heritage town where we will stay overnight. Day7: Hoi An option (B) You may have a whole free day in Hoi An for exploring on your own. Or we may cycle to My Son heritage site, have a cooking class, or go snorkeling (option). Overnight in Hoi An. Day8: Hoi An - Hue (80km cycling) (B,L,D) We will leave the old lantern town for the coast of China beach to Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains) to visit some stone sculptures. There are hundreds of statues, products made of sandstone and marble by local craftsmen. We will cycle along the coast and up to Hai Van Pass - a legendary Pass in the center of Vietnam (20km cycling up and down) from the 14th century. Have lunch at Lang Co beach - one of the most beautiful beaches in the world recognized by UNESCO. We will relax after eating on the bus and transfer to Phuoc Tuong hill. Ride from the top hill down the railway to Cau Hai lagoon, and through the "ghost city" before arriving in Hue where we will stay overnight. Day9: Hue - Hanoi (25km cycling) (B,L,D) We will take a morning ride around the city to visit the Hue old Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty of 19th & 20th century, Thien Mu pagoda and Tu Duc King Tomb. We will then go back to the hotel for checking out. We will have lunch in Hue before taking the airport to Hanoi (600km). We will stay overnight in Hanoi. Day10: Hanoi city tour (no cycling) (B,L,D) Arrive in Hanoi at about 5:00am. Transfer to the hotel for a short rest, and enjoy a breakfast at Pho24 (traditional vietnamese noodle) near Ho Guom Lake. We will do a city tour to visit the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and one pillar pagoda. The afternoon is free. We will stay overnight in Ha Noi. Day11: Ha Noi departure (no cycling) (B) End of the tour and welcome back. If you have an onward flight, we will transfer you to the airport.
