On your special holiday to Bali, come let us share our secret traditional Balinese with a special culinary experience for two. Our Balinese chef will guide you to prepare for the cooking, with an early morning trip at 7am to buy the cooking ingredients at Ubud’s traditional market. It is also an opportunity to see the Balinese way of life as they purchase their wares (and bargain their way to a good price). The cooking starts at 11.00am in a traditional Balinese kitchen compound surrounded by our organic garden and rice fields. If you love to cook vegetarian good, you can pick any kind of spices or vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, and even eggplants. The best part of our morning will be when you taste the fruits of your labor as you tuck into lunch on a wooden deck surrounded beautiful rice field views. There are 3 menus to choose from (please state which is your choice when making a booking): MENU A Seafood Soup Clear seafood soup with vegetables and ginger *** Green Curry Mixed vegetable curry with Balinese spices and coconut milk OR Chicken Curry Boiled chicken with vegetables in Balinese curry sauce and coconut milk *** Dadar Gulung Rolled Balinese crepe with grated coconut and palm sugar MENU B Wong Soup Clear spiced mushroom soup with kaffir lime leaf *** Sate Lilit Grilled minced seafood with Balinese sauce on skewers OR Be Sampi Base Genep Braised beef with Balinese sauce and coconut milk *** Kolak Pisang Boiled banana with palm sugar and coconut milk VEGETARIAN MENU: Wong Soup Clear spiced mushroom soup with kaffir lime leaf *** Green Curry Mixed vegetable curry with Balinese spice and coconut milk *** Dadar Gulung Rolled Balinese crepe with grated coconut and palm sugar
