델리 에서 할 수 있는 것

Transport yourself 600 years back into the realms of history as I take you for a walk in Delhi's Oldest and most Historic part - Old Delhi. Delhi is my city and I am extremely passionate about it. This is the city which has defined much of the history of the Indian subcontinent and continues to do so even today. Let me show you this unusual place where kingdoms have flourished for more than a millenium. The city where medieval havelis (homes) go together with Lutyen's Delhi and 21st century high-tech offices cast their shadows on them. Delhi is the city where a combination of cultures across the length and breadth of India continue to live side by side. Besides the obvious sites that everyone needs to see like the Qutab Minar and the Red Fort, I will take you to sites beyond the usual - to Mughal era houses where Delhiites still live, to haunted places in and around Delhi and introduce you to Delhi's world-famous cuisine. We will cover sites such as the Famed Red Fort, Jama Masjid (the biggest of its kind in the world after the Mecca Mosque) and a walk in Chandini Chowk. We will also visit a number of age old markets within Chandini Chowk such as Spice Market, the Bangles Market etc. In between savour local delights and street foods such as Chaat and Parathas (Indian Bread) in Parathewallen Galli. Immerse yourself in Delhi's famous Mughlai cuisine as I take you to the world renowned Karim's Restaurant. The tour will end at India Gate where we will take a short walk around monuments dating back to the early 20th century when India was the jewel of the British Empire.
