Discover Shizuoka, the city under Mt Fuji!

Discover Shizuoka, the city under Mt Fuji! Mr Romain was very informative and spoke fluent English. He was very well versed in Japanese history and we enjoy listening to his story. He took the trouble to find a praying area for us as we are Muslim. He was kind enough to send us to the train station with all our luggages.Overall it was a fantastic experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Shizuoka.

Learn how to Make Nigiri Sushi I really enjoyed learning to make sushi with Satoko! She has great culinary skills so it is fun to learn from here,
and the sushi at the end is delicious! She used very high quality ingredients,
so the end result was just as tasty as any sushi that I have had in a good restaurant!

Learn how to Make Nigiri Sushi

Learn how to Make Nigiri Sushi Satoko San's nigiri sushi was just like real sushi at local japanese restaurants.
Thanks to her hospitality, our main guest from Germany seemed to enjoy the party and I was really glad to see his smile!
Even more, she made miso soup for all of us, that was awesome omotenashi
Thank you very much, Satoko San.
    We all loved your sushi!!!

Learn how to Make Nigiri Sushi

Learn how to Make Nigiri Sushi Satoko-san is really a friendly and outgoing host. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. I never knew how dedicated one could prepare rice before boiling it for sushi, but be sure, it's a science of it's own. Making the sushi itself is almost a ritual and it's fun to learn it. It's not that hard and after 2-3 rice pieces I had figured out how to press the rice with my palm.
We placed the pieces on well decorated plates and enjoyed our fresh self-made sushi afterwards. Needless to say that self-made sushi is the best sushi.
