Hello everyone!
My name is Daisuke and am a professional Taiko drummer based in Tokyo.

I grew up playing percussion at a young age and now lead a music group pushing the boundaries of Japanese drumming.

We perform domestically (Tohoku Rokkonsai) and internationally (Honolulu Festival), and hope to see you at one of our upcoming performances.

At the same time I am looking forward to you joining my lesson!

Learn to Play Taiko We had a fantastic time with Daisuke San. He was sharing his knowledge and encouraging us to try the drums and develop our skills. He speaks good English and his studio is nearly maintained. We would love to visit him again for another class.

Learn to Play Taiko This was a super fun experience during my first trip to Japan. I've always admired Taiko drums and thought they were really cool so it was a cool experience to try playing them. Daisuke is really knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience all the more memorable. Something to note for anyone considering taking a Taiko drum lesson while in Japan, Daisuke's studio is one of very few who have that really large taiko drum and allows their clients practice on. Definitely recommend his experience!

Learn to Play Taiko We only booked an hour, but felt it was enough. You will work hard and learn a lot. A totally enjoyable experience, lots of laughing ..... but we also leared a lot about the drums and how they are used. Great experience for anyone - even families. DO THIS TOUR ! you won't regret it. A super fun time!

Learn to Play Taiko Daisuke was so much fun! An absolutely brilliant teacher that has fun with you while teaching you the basics of Taiko. Even while he is still very much a beginner in English, he is very patient and helps explain concepts and lessons very clearly.

His session was and absolute treasure and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan!
