On this tour, I'll take you through the city of eternal spring in Vietnam, the city of Da Lat. We'll visit the main attractions as well as offbeat, local areas to see the true side of this charming, hillside town. The following is just a brief description of our day together. 1) Da Lat Cathedral Da Lat Cathedral is a cathedral for the Catholics in Vietnam, known as Con Ga church for its bell-shaped tower and french-style architecture. It is also the largest church in Da Lat. 2) Crazy House Since launching in 1990, this building has been recognized for its unique architecture and has been highlighted in guide books as one of the 10 most bizarre buildings as voted by the People Journal of China. 3) The Old Railway Station Da Lat Railway Station is considered the oldest railway station in Vietnam and Indochina. The station was built by the French in 1932 to 1938, spanning 84km long from Da Lat to Phan Rang. The station has a unique architectural style, you can recognize it by its three pyramidal roofs which resembles Langbiang mountain. 4) Lycee Yersin School The Pedagogical College of Da Lat (formerly called the Grand Lycee Yersin) is known as having one of the most unique architecture in the world in the 20th century by the architectural world Association of Architects (UIA). 5) Flower Garden For a long time, Da Lat has been known as the land of a thousand flowers. Da Lat Flower Garden, located near Xuan Huong Lake, is home to hundreds of thousands of lovely flowers. 6) XQ Historical Village XQ Historical Village is an abbreviation of two artists who founded the village - Vo Van Quan and Hoang Le Xuan. Laid out like an art gallery, the many artworks on display which appear like paintings are actually hand embroidered works of art, stitched by artists on site. The tour will cover many different areas, including: -Embroidery exhibition areas -Food court -Embroidery area -Embroidery artisans honor area -Flower garden and art installation -Showroom for the history of embroidery 7) Bao Dai's Summer Palace Built as a summer retreat for the last emperor of Vietnam in 1930s, Bao Dai's Summer Palace is now preserved as a special art-deco architecture building with a museum.
