Hi, I am the master of the izakaya, Yucky! Have you been to the funniest izakaya at Shinbashi? No?! How come!! You definitely need to come to see me at Kagaya! You will never forget this experience at my izakaya! I love making people laugh and I am sure you will have an amazing time here! My shows are the most hilarious performances in Japan..!! Oh maybe not only in Japan, in the world! I am looking forward to seeing you! I will welcome you with the warm hospitality!
Yucky is amazing. I loved the vibe and he's definitely wacky, I just wish the food was better.
Wackiest Dinner Ever
Food is ok but the performances and definitely next level wacky. You need a sense of humour.
Perfect evening in Japan
It as the first time I ate in an izakaya, and I had a lot of fun.
Everybody was super nice and we truly laughed all night.
I enjoyed my time with Yucky. You must have a great sense of humor. He spends time with each guests and the humor is very much like improve. I enjoyed the meal choice. The place is small so I suggest make reservation. Seating is on floor cushions which is a bit challenging for me but nobody cared that I sat with my legs straight. Also 2 people were smoking but fortunately it wasn't the whole time. I thanked Yucky before I left and talked briefly. He said to beware of ninja when I leave. So when I left and was walking down the street, i didnt notice Yucky had followed me. He jumped out with something blue and glowing. He started yelling ninja! ninja! We laughed and he went to back to his shop.
Great entertainment and food
Definitely worth the visit. You will be surprised (in a good way) with all the surprises and entertainment during the course of dinner. Also a trip to the toilet is mandatory :)
Bring you sense of humour! a truly unique experience
As we were the 2 first customers in this small izakaya, I was not really feeling comfortable at first. But once other customers were seated and the small place began to be filled with all kinds of people, the fun really began! Our host is a real performer and the entire room was filled with laughter! I won't reveal what exactly happened that evening (I'm not sure I could), but it was nice to interact with locals and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this famous izakaya with the frog.
I would not recommend to go there before 7:00PM, because, you know the saying: the more, the merrier!
This was one the greatest nights ever .. The host had me crying with laughter. Very the humour is very adult so expect the extreme :) recoomand to everyone
The food was great, the host was wacky as promised. It was a funny night.
This was perhaps one of the funnest things my friends and i have done in Tokyo. The experience is very hard to explain, but to cut it short my friends and I had a very long and tiring day before going in and we didnt have any high hopes. In the end we walked out with one of us in a frog suit and the biggest smile on our faces. This place will keep you laughing nonstop for an easy hour or two and i would recommend it for anyone wanting to try out a Japanese experience.
Thanks masta! :D
Like most people have said, there just aren't words. You have to experience it for yourself. My husband had a great time for his birthday! Thanks!
