Pig Out on Local Hong Kong Dishes with a Hungry Foodie

This lunch journey isn't about snacks or street food. It's the real deal, full on meal. So you better bring your appetite, I mean it. Starting in Sham Shui Po, we will first have a unique Hong Kong cha chaan teng-style egg and beef sandwich. Next, just a few blocks around the corner, we wash that down with tasty handmade dumplings swimming in a bowl of rich Shanghai style fish broth. After, we'll walk towards Prince Edward, a place where we will eat juicy meat-stuffed "pie," characteristic of northern Chinese cuisine. Try the curry mutton too if you're game. And if you're a fan of spicy food, we well venture to this one stall that serves freshly cooked wontons in a spicy sauce. Then finally, let's stroll down to Mong Kok, where we'll finish off with something sweet... a tall glass of ice cold milk tea, a classic egg tart, and a warm "pineapple bun," pork chop inside optional. And if you're still not full (which I can't imagine how), there are always more places to eat, like dim sum, beef noodle soup, hainan chicken rice, congee... Now doesn't that make your mouth water, cause it's sure doing it for me. :) You will have to pay for your own food but don't worry, these places are cheap, especially since we'll be splitting the check and sharing the food. It shouldn't cost more than $200 HKD total per person, unless you go completely nuts! We'll be walking from one restaurant to the next. This'll help us digest the food, which we'll need badly... :)
