Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019 The entire evening was too rushed and we had to queue for drink and food. The drink was advertised as unlimited however given the queues it was severely limited. The buffet was good with a satisfactory variety but again the queues restricted what you had.

There were far too many people on board to make this enjoyable, it was a frantic dash for food and drink and not relaxing at all.

The entertainment was mediocre at best and matched by a poor fireworks display.
There was a brass band playing as you went on board and when you came off, they were the best thing on this cruise, unfortunately you only heard them for a few minutes.

I could not recommend this to anyone and would advise anyone to take indigestion tablets with them.

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019 It was a disappointment. The event name should have been New Year's Countdown since there were no fireworks at all. The dining experience was bad since there was no system in place. The only good part were the staffs. They are very friendly

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019 This was a great experience to do with your family being in one place. The food was good, the fireworks were beautiful, the band was great! I feel as though boarding should have started earlier. We were so rushed getting on the boat, barely had time to eat (there was chaos at the buffet table). Everyone was scrambling to get their food before midnight. We got on the boat at 11pm, ended up getting our food late due to chaos and then immediately had to go upstairs before midnight. I would not have minded had this been any event, but it being New Year's Eve, there should have been more concern on the time. If there were less people then it would have been fine to board/depart late. Since there were many people, it would have been less chaotic if we had boarded/departed earlier. We were on, ate, fireworks and then back to port, all in a hurry. It would have been better to have relaxed and ate in peace without worrying whether we were going to miss the midnight fireworks or not. Some of our family members did not even make it up to the top deck due to the fact that they barely got their dinner after waiting in the line which was not moving.

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019 My family booked this tour because we really wanted to see fireworks without having to make our way through a sea of people. Honestly, we were very disappointed. The system of lining up during dinner was a MESS! The food was just average. The refills were very slow. We gave up on the food and instead expected a nice evening view of the fireworks. To our disappointment again, the ship was too far from the fireworks display. It was not worth it. We heard a lot of people complaining as well during the evening that it was not worth it. I believe the only thing people enjoyed was meeting new people.

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019

Tokyo New Year's Eve Countdown Cruise 2018–2019 Overall was good. But what shocked us was, we were having dinner at a round table (emperor’s deck) togather with strangers. While other decks passengers were not sharing tables with others.
