Hi, I'm Tokie.

I was born and grew up in Osaka, and I have lived in Osaka for 90% of my life. I like to show people around my city, not only famous sightseeing places but also local places where you can feel how real Osaka is.

I also travel a lot. I have traveled to Europe, South East Asia, North and Central America, and more. I always enjoyed tours where I could meet local people and enjoy an awesome experience. So I want to offer similar tours here in Osaka.

My likes:
1. Local tours
2. Good food
3. Cooking
4. Language and culture exchange (I can teach Japanese!)
5. Japanese calligraphy
6. Running (I have some marathon experiences.)
7. The beach (That's what I miss here in Osaka!)

Please contact me if you want to enjoy Osaka and Japan!

Tour Saihō-ji (Moss Temple), a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Tour Saihō-ji (Moss Temple), a UNESCO World Heritage Site This was a tour that we’ve never experienced before! Toko was our lovely guide & was very informative about everything in the temple & moss gardens. The scripture writing & chanting inside the temple was an awesome experience to do. Would definitely recommend doing this!!

Craft your own Japanese Stone Seal

Craft your own Japanese Stone Seal This was more difficult than it looks on the website, but the host will help you if you make a mistake. Got to meet four nice people who work there. Unbelievable how the Japanese can make such very detailed stamp designs with hand. I would recommend this activity for all.

Become a Takoyaki Master and Make the Specialty of Osaka!

Become a Takoyaki Master and Make the Specialty of Osaka! Fantastic experience learning to make takoyaki. Staff were welcoming and had a good laugh with them. They added in a few extra gifts with the takoyaki plate too!

Enjoy a market tour and Japanese home cooking in Osaka!

Enjoy a market tour and Japanese home cooking in Osaka! This was a really pleasent experiance. We went on a market tour and Tokie was happy to anwser every question we could think of. We learned a lot of new things about food and the market itself. When cooking she was happy to adjust to what we wanted to learn and together we cooked many very delicious things which I am able to now prepare for myself at home. I reccomend this to anyone who wants to learn something about Japanese cuisine and who wants to enjoy some really good food at the end of everything. Thank you again Tokie!

    Best wishes, from Slovenia :)
