When I was young, my family enjoyed meals I cooked up with my grandparents and that experience sparked my interest in cooking. Later on, for seven years, I began training as a cook. I’ve never attended culinary school, but, again, for seven years, I gained experience at various restaurants.

I can teach you how to make Italian food, Ethnic food, and Chinese food as well as Japanese Food.

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo Cooking with Yuki was quite fun, and I was glad to discover a typical Japanese dish other than the usual sushi and yakitori I eat in Europe !

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo I knew that Tokyo offers some of the best places in the world to eat, but I wanted to test how home-cooked Japanese cuisine tastes. Yuki is living in a great place and we made a fabulous dinner, which we enjoyed while drinking some traditional sake … yeah that so called “sukiyaki”-meal was soooo “oishii!”. Next time I will go to his place with some friends to show them how to make incredible food!

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo

Cook Sukiyaki with a Local Chef in Tokyo I love Japanese food, but I've always found it a little intimidating since it seemed so difficult to cook. Cooking with Yuki has changed my opinion completely. This chef tought me some of the secrets behind making Japanese food in a simple and elegant fashion. It was one of the most interesting activities I enjoyed during my brief visit in Tokyo. A good opportunity to enjoy oneself and spend some time in a good company. Definitely recommended.

Join Yuki and His Friends for a Japanese Meal at Home

Join Yuki and His Friends for a Japanese Meal at Home When I came to Japan to work as an English teacher I really wanted to meet some Japanese people as fast as possible. I saw the findjpn add in the newspapers and booked this dinner. All I have to say: Thank you guys for having me over, it was incredible. We are still in contact and they make my time here in Japan a lot better than I had ever expected!!
