If you are looking for delicious experiences in Tsukiji, my tour is the best choice for you because I am the No.1 expert who knows everything about Tsukiji gourmet information.
I have been active in the mass media field as a Tsukiji Fish Market advisor, and have written many books about the market's restaurants and the market itself. My books have received global recognition. I also became champion in a famous Japanese television series called "TV Champion" for my deep knowledge of the market. People now call me the "Tsukiji King".

10% OFF Private Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market Tour & Enjoy Sushi

10% OFF Private Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market Tour & Enjoy Sushi Really fantastic tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market. This place is so large and overwhelming, I am not sure we could have explored it on our own. Our guide Atsushi was truly an expert on the market, and provided lots of interesting information. Also, he made reservations for an amazing sushi lunch after the tour for us, which was truly incredible! I recommend anyone wanting to visit this market to book this tour, so they can get the most of their visit!

10% OFF Private Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market Tour & Enjoy Sushi We were late to arrive and missed the first 20 minutes of the tour. It was however made up by the rest of the tour. We enjoyed going through the wholesalers especially and see how they prepare the food items for selling. Atsushi, our guide, explained to us really well what's going and even showed us the distribution pyramid. We were really amazed with the different produce; with their sizes, the actual appearance (like the wasabi!) and their taste!

As mentioned by our tour guide, he gives a restaurant recommendation for us to try for lunch time. We opted for non-sushi recommendation (because we do get a lot of this from the Philippines) and went for sashimi instead. He took us to Takeno, a small restaurant, hidden in plain sight and helped us order to avoid the language barrier. After he left and our food arrived, it wasn't enough for us so we basically doubled our first order (but replaced one item with deep fried breaded oysterfly). We definitely had a blast!

Afterwards, we did return to the produce section and bought ourselves a one whole muskmelon and one pack of muscat grapes. Expensive fruits but we actually got it on the cheap already and they are really good!

Thanks again, Atsushi, for the wonderful tour!

10% OFF Private Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market Tour & Enjoy Sushi Atsushi was a wonderful guide. He showed through the inner and outer markets, and we saw MUCH more than we would have without a guide. He knows his way through the market as well as the history. Certainly the best way to see Tsukiji market.

10% OFF Private Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market Tour & Enjoy Sushi Many of our friends told us not to bother with a guide for the Tsukiji fish market because it was so easy to find and wander yourself, but I would have to disagree. We went to the market with our friends before the tour and accidentally walked past the main gate. On our tour I was able to ask our guide a dozen times what strange and new things I was looking at. We also saved time by effeciently visiting key areas of the market and learning the history and cultural significance. The wealth of knowledge was fantastic, and I was able to buy plenty of snacks I now love and unfortunately, won't be able to buy back home. Also, the sushi restaurant tucked away in a side alley was everything I had hoped for. I researched many tours for the Tsukiji market before deciding on this one, and I have no regrets.
