Hi, my name is Jun! For the past 7 months, I've been traveling around Southeast Asia. During this time, I got to partake in lots of new experiences and learned a lot, making me fall in love with traveling and these new places. Now, by hosting on Voyagin, I'd like to help you experience Japan in a similar way so that you can fall in love with our country and culture.

In addition to traveling, I'm also interested in photography, football (soccer), and visiting underground bars (speakeasies). I look forward to meeting you and making new friends!

Experience Meditation to Calm the Mind

Experience Meditation to Calm the Mind It was a great experience so I highly recommend it. And here are the reasons:

    (a) Junichi (the host) was very polite and helpful. We met at the train station and he guided us to the temple where he stayed with us all the time explaining things.
    (b) the place was an actual temple and not touristic at all. It was very authentic since some locals joined the monk and participated with us. Meditation appeared to be a daily habit early in the morning before going to work.
    (c) after the completion of the meditation we were able to take some photos of the temple and pose as if we were meditating. Junichi helped. So the experience stayed for ever in our photos.

Just have in mind that you have to be able to stay still (no moving) for a whole 25 minutes, 5 minutes break, and then another one session for 25 minutes. Zen is not yoga which includes movement.

We had a great time! Thanks Junichi! Thanks Voyagin!
