Hi! I'm Kumi, a licensed English speaking tour guide living in Mie, Japan. I'm orignally from the Tokyo area and was also raised in Singapore but had a drastic change in lifestyle when my husband decided to become a Buddhist priest! Now that I'm living a small temple in Mie, I'd like to share with you the experiences available in the area.
Some of you might find the town in Mie as too quiet, but it is actually a great place to visit if you're looking for somewhere off the beaten track. For example, you can even try eating premium beef while you're wearing a sedate local kimono that makes you look like a samurai!
