Reservation for Wadatsumi Kaiseki Restaurant in Tokyo

Reservation for Wadatsumi Kaiseki Restaurant in Tokyo Adam and I had a great time at Wadatsumi. The set menu was delicious, especially the sashimi, and Adam was able to find some fish-free items as well. We tried three kinds of sake with our meal and were surprised at how varied in flavour they were.
Without booking through Voyagin we would never have found this place, so thanks! And thanks again to the restaurant's staff for looking after us and letting me practice my conversational Japanese on them too :)

Reservation for Wadatsumi Kaiseki Restaurant in Tokyo

Reservation for Wadatsumi Kaiseki Restaurant in Tokyo I can recommend this experience from the bottom of my stomach. Sakes we tasted were well chosen, each complimenting different types of foods. My personal favourite was the Aramasa No 6, which is a bit sweet and supposedly hard to get even in Japan.

We went for the Watatsumi set meals, which covered a whole variety of Japanese cuisine. Presentation was appealing to the senses and flavours were spot on. Staff was very welcoming and hospitable, including the host, who kept us company throughout the evening. What a great way to start our Japan voyage!
