Go out on a Shibuya Evening Walking Food Tour!

Go out on a Shibuya Evening Walking Food Tour! This evening walking tour was so much fun! Even the couple in our group who were not "foodies" enjoyed it!! We went to places we would have never known about.....the food was amazing....the guide, Anne, was simply the best!! She not only gave us lots of information about Japan, the culture, and the food, but was able to answer any question we had in general as well.

We left laughing, very full of food and good memories. Thanks, Anne, for a WONDERFUL evening!!! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to have a good time getting to know more about the food and culture of Japan.

Go out on a Shibuya Evening Walking Food Tour!

Go out on a Shibuya Evening Walking Food Tour! Our very warm and welcoming host Tomako met us at Shibuya station, took us across possibly the busiest/biggest intersection in the world and along narrow streets to restaurants in Tokyo we'd never have found by ourselves. The food was sensational and we especially loved the Yamaimo-Yaki (traditionally from Osaka). This was our first visit to Japan and we wanted to see more than just what's in the tourist brochures. Tomako was delightful. She also showed us where to buy unusual things and a yukata (a summer kimono, which was on my shopping list). A very personal way to experience a new city and culture.

One day Ramen Tour in Tokyo

One day Ramen Tour in Tokyo Shintaro is very knowledgeable about ramen and I appreciate how accommodating he was to my request even though I arranged the tour a day before. I was only able to visit two ramen places but both were delicious and highly recommended. Definitely go to Ippudo for their light tonkatsu ramen!

He can customize your tour if you don't feel up to going to 2-3 ramen places. We took a break and went to Blue Brick lounge for cake and coffee as well so don't worry about sticking to a strict schedule.

Ramen is my favorite food and eating in Japan is the best!
