Hi, I am Michio and I am happy to be a host of Voyagin. I would like to meet and talk with people and I'm looking forward to meeting visitors from all over the world.

I have been working for a multinational FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) company, my responsibility was consumer / shopper understanding. We had to conduct a series of consumer / shopper understanding study before we launch a new product in Japan and this was my specialty. Now, I would like to share a part of my experiences of Japanese consumer / shopper through my Voyagin activity since it will help foreign visitors to understand Japanese people. With this understanding, I am sure they can have a fruitful stay in Japan and enjoy their visit more.

I went to University in US and married a lady from Hong Kong. We have 2 children and they have their own family.

I like to visit overseas countries, I especially South East Asia. I like to cook and eat. My favorite cooking is BBQ now. I also like to go hiking in the woods.

I wish all the visitors can enjoy their trip in Japan and the best way to enjoy their visit is to understand Japanese people, I believe. I also like to be a friend with visitors and understand their culture.

Climb Mt Takao and refresh yourself in the beautiful nature

Climb Mt Takao and refresh yourself in the beautiful nature Guide Michio is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time hiking and learning about the various shrines and Mt Takao. View from the top is simply breath taking and we are able to see Mt Fuji too. Highly recommended tour especially with friendly guide Michio.

Shopping tour in Tokyo to understand Japanese consumers

Shopping tour in Tokyo to understand Japanese consumers Our host was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating! While you can figure out some of the differences between your culture and the daily routines in Japan, there are so many nuances that having a guide such as Michio provides a unique opportunity to learn. We went up and down one of the largest shopping streets in Tokyo, and in between learning about the differences between our culture's shopping habits and Japan's, Michio also helped us look for some specific items we had been searching for. What a great experience! Thank you very much!

Enjoy 3 kinds of ramen noodles in Yokohama

Enjoy 3 kinds of ramen noodles in Yokohama Michio is an excellent tour guide. His English is better than most guides in Japan, he has skill in communication and gave us lots of interesting information.
We took the tour during a heatwave, too hot to walk. Avoid a Sunday in school holidays as two of the venues were very crowded. It was interesting to see Japanese children having fun at the Cup Noodle Museum. As the Ramen Museum was impossibly crowded Michio took us to a Japanese bar that did not cater for tourists. Very interesting to see how the locals enjoy food and beer. He should include this as an option in his tour.
You should improve your website instructions eg.
    "Not included
Foods, Entrance fee, and Transportation fee. These costs which will vary with the number of people, mode of transport and age of participants. Carry cash and have at least 5000 Yen"
