Nearby, you'll find another desert, Omote-sabaku, which is greener than Ura-sabaku and home to a variety of plants. If you go westward, you'll find Oshima Azalea garden. In spring, azaleas bloom beautifully in this area. As you continue on the trail, you'll find Hairanaigasawa.
