Have you ever tried kimono before? A kimono is a traditional Japanese garment. Most Japanese people wear western clothes in everyday life, but on special occasions we wear kimono. There are different types of kimono for men and women of different ages. Often people wear formal kimono at weddings, funerals or at traditional gatherings. These kimono are multi-layered, and take a lot of time to put on. An easier to wear kimono is called the "yukata". It is easier to put on because it is single-layered. The yukata is more informal, and is often worn in summer. ☆Get a yukata as a souvenir! The yukata is easy to put on. You can master wearing it in only a few hours. In this class, you will learn how to wear yukata and get one as a souvenir!
