Come and learn about the importance of permaculture principles in a fun, green and educational environment! The Island Sustainability Education Centre (ISEC) is a hidden treasure for all nature lovers searching for a place to learn, laugh, and get in touch with Mother Nature while making a positive difference. Sustainability is the way of the future and the way of NOW. So what are you waiting for? The Role Foundation 'Island Sustainability Education Centre' is a 1.5 hectare eco-learning park over-looking beautiful views of Nusa Dua in Bali. The centre aims to alleviate poverty while encouraging environmental protection by offering underprivileged Balinese individuals with free education regarding permaculture practices, waste management, English language & literacy skills, eco-tourism, sustainable micro-business management, and town planning. These students, also known as the 'Environmental Ambassadors', would love to share their invaluable knowledge with you through weekly permaculture workshops taking place at ISEC every Saturday. We don't just offer permaculture workshops; we offer a range of educational activities. Your participation will directly support Role Foundation projects to alleviate poverty, and protect our environment. You will see firsthand how this is working!
