Stopped in Thailand with husband and two older boys and decided to do something exciting! Found Voyagin and made a booking to go do the Flying Hanuman. It was so easy and much cheaper than other websites.
Zip lining itself was fantastic fun. You have to be a fit to get to the start of the course but once in the trees you just do the flying and let the guides do the work. They are great staff and great fun.
Will we do it again? Definitely the next time we are in Phuket 😜
From the moment you arrive at Hanuman until you leave, everything is very good and professionaly organized. The safety is not a big concern, due to the highly trained guides (3 per group of around 10) who still have time to be incredibly polite and funny, so the whole thing is really enjoyable!
The trees are high, and you are sliding on cables between the platforms, with some hiking in between, so if you have height phobia or you are an extremely anti-sporty maybe think twice.
However, zip lines are suitable for children, large people etc.
Would totally do it again, with video service booked in advance (did not know about that this time so we didn't book, but their video montage is great, so try it!)
Amazing experience. Friendly staff
We enjoyed the whole activity even on a rainy day. They two instructors with our group made extra efforts to let us have fun and make us laugh. Well recommended
Flying Hanumas has really great instructors, they make you feel more as an individual rather than just a mass tourist attraction. Additionally groups were small ~8 persons. We took a shorter course, but did enjoy it nevertheless, great views. Also good pickup service as well as small complementaries like fruits at the end of the course.
it was really fun
I have fear of heights, but still me and my wife had big fun, and the instructors are very careful and friendly. I highly recommend
Cheers to bang bang and dee dee for amazing trip thru the 28 zip lines, and amazing food, worth it!! Safety standards are good
Safe, Adventurous, Worth Doing
The Flying Hanuman zip-lining experience was definitely a highlight of our stay in Phuket. It was well organized (the hotel pick up was a huge boon), safe and there were tons of "Easter eggs" along the way- free t-shirts, fruits and water. Our guide was extremely kind, playful and accommodating. One of the patrons on our trip lost his shoes during one of the zips and by the time we made it to the next platform, his shoes were returned to him. Our host was a polyglot, speaking English, Mandarin, Russian, Polish and Korean (which allowed him to effectively communicate with our 8 person group). Also, the views through the forest and at some of the higher platforms was stellar. We highly recommend it!
Fantastic experience that I think everyone should try once. You are in groups of around 6 people depending on your chosen course. The initial walk to the the first line is tough and steep, and there is one shorter climb later, but apart from that its plain sailing. The guides are professional, experienced and confident, and pass that confidence onto you. They will make sure that they, and you, are always connected to a safety line, and will always remind you of the few safety rules. Since you will have at least two guides, one will go across the line first and be there to meet you at the next platform to make sure that you are safe and comfortable before the next person is sent across.
The rides are breathtaking. Its the sort of fun you had as a child, only on a grander, higher, faster and longer scale. It's also the sort of ride that you're not going to do in your normal life. The views are equally amazing and remember to take a camera, or camera phone with a secure selfie stick. You'll want to have videos of the ride.
Overall, a fantastic experience, and in addition, an internet search found Voyagin offering 18% off, which made the whole experience 18% more fun!
