THE STORY OF OUR BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY:
Once upon a time... actually just over 50 years ago, the first governor of Bangkok Dr. Chamnan Yuvaboon was looking for a holiday home outside of Bangkok and discovered a bullet wood tree by the river banks that was about to topple over. To save this tree he bought the land and built their family's holiday home. The sacred bullet-wood tree still stands here today within the 70-acre property that is now known as Sampran Riverside.
Initially, the business had started as cultivating roses to supply to the Bangkok flower markets which had come from a passion the governor's wife had developed during her visit to England.
Since then, under the care of three generations, Sampran Riverside has grown gradually to a 70-acre riverside property that is more like a community rather than a ‘typical’ resort.
