Get the best of Tokyo in a single day!
Don’t have enough time to travel around all of Tokyo?
Don’t worry! This one day tour is made for people like you who would like to enjoy as much of Tokyo as possible. After completing this tour you will have visited most of Tokyo's major tourist hot spots.
■ ASAKUSA ■
We start with the most popular touristic site of Asakusa area. Asakusa is one of the most traditional places in all of Tokyo. Walking through the ancestral Japanese atmosphere you might be surprised at how Japanese religious customs are available to anyone and how Japanese time-honored manners have matured. You’ll experience the proper way to visit the temple & shrine, how to purify yourself, how to pray, and what a Japanese fortuneteller is like. While at the same time Asakusa is the new symbol of what Japan’s state-of-the-art construction and architecture technology is all about, Tokyo Sky Tree, currently the highest tower in the world is 634 meters tall.
■ The West side of Tokyo ■
After a walk inside one of the most traditional areas of Tokyo, we’ll cross the city to meet the trendy young generation of Japanese in west Tokyo. Open your eyes, you might be surprised! At Shibuya, we’ll see a statue of a loyal dog named ‘Hachi’ and the famous crossing nearby. We'll continue walking around attractive shopping areas like 109, and have a lunch break. If you like to have sushi, we’ll take you to a sushi restaurant.
This quite unique sushi restaurant is in Shibuya. Many tourists want to eat sushi here!
In the afternoon, we’ll move to Harajuku. We’ll visit Meiji Jingu which is one of the biggest Shinto-related shrines in Japan, and hustle and bustle Takeshita Street filled with teenagers across Japan. You can enjoy its gap between holly atmosphere and secular world.
This west tour shows you not only old and new, but also sacred and secular aspects of Tokyo!
