As a culinary specialist and as a nutritionist I cook at home and host “Tukurukoto wo Tanoshimu” (Having fun making) class dressmaking and kimono-making. I’ve gone to many places as well as a “cook who makes business trips”. While being a home tutor for high schoolers for 11 years, I also went to Korea to study their food. After that, I started work at a kitchen at a hospital attached to Tokyo Medical and Dental University that makes over 600 meals a day. After leaving that post, I have done jobs such as catering, Japanese cooking lessons for foreigners in Japan, and work as a private cook.

When i think back on my trip, I always think of Keiko and how wonderful our first night in Japan was because of her. I must have e-mailed her a hundred times before i arrived in Tokyo and she responded each time. Keiko went far beyond what my wife and I expected! she waited over an hour for us at our hotel, and took us around the city based on our custom itinerary. We never felt rushed or on a time schedule with Keiko. To top it all off, we were out late night and just happened to miss our last train back to our hotel, Keiko without hesitation booked us a cab back to our hotel. We hope to see her in California and visit her again when we return to Tokyo and try her cooking class. Thank you so much Keiko!!!
Fantastic! I booked for 2 (me and my wife) and we wanted to go to some really specific places. We booked the Butler Cafe in Tokyo for the same day, so the schedule had to be worked around that. But Voyagin still made it happen!
Keiko-san took us around. We were interested in Artnia (Square-Enix cafe), Capcom Bar, Gundam Cafe, and Butler Cafe (booked separately, but we went on the same day). Keiko-san was so warm and friendly! She met us at the station with a personalized sign that she gave to us as a gift. <3 She was great about making sure we were with her on the crowded trains and stations, and helping us get proper tickets for local lines.
As we went around and ordered, Keiko-san was really great about explaining anything that was said and/or written, asking for menus in English, and indulging our curiosity of signs and advertisements we passed. We'd also had a mishap the day before with losing something, and she obliged us by finding a police station and asking for us if they had seen our bag-- something we couldn't do with our limited Japanese. Courteous, interesting, and sharp, Keiko-san also kept an eye out for things we'd expressed interest in buying for our family back home, and explained the history or interesting points of things we passed as we walked from place to place. At the end of the day, she made sure we got back safely.
Overall, this was a great experience for us in Japan. Voyagin and Keiko-san were great about being flexible, welcoming, kind, and making sure we made great memories. We would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in the unique themes and places to eat around Tokyo!
After a few emails before the tour we agreed on a time and place to meet and a few ideas for the tour. The guide was very flexible in what we would be doing on the tour which was great. We told her what we were looking for and she picked some great places to go. The Robot Restaurant was a truely unique experience and worth the price of admission. I'll definitely be doing it again the next time I go to Tokyo. Our guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. We'll be keeping in touch and definitely using the same guide next time we go. Overall a brilliant tour
Yukiko was a awesome guide, she met me at my hotel promptly and had our day planned out and when I wanted to tweak something she was more than happy to accomodate. What impressed me the most was Yukiko's attitude despite bad weather she had a smile on her face and was more than willing to press on. My tour was a little more customized than the one being offered but I would recommend any fans of pop culture to take this tour.
