One of the best things I've done on land!

Both Takahiro (our guide) and Kirimaru (the greatest living Sumo) were excellent - friendly and informative. Despite being approached constantly for photos while on the street, our Sumo managed to remain a friendly, super sized rock star. Takahiro was excellent as a translator and provided us with superb information throughout the tour. It was excellent and I can't recommend it enough.

Fun. Kind of expensive for what you get.

We had a great time! Our translator and Tashiro were good people, however this is a VERY expensive tour for govoyagin, we did not eat a meal. We went to sumo historical center, a shrine, and walked through the touristy stalls at asakusa. The highlight was Tashiro letting us try to push him in.l the sumo building. Much respect to our leaders, it just was very expensive for a family of 4 relative to our experience. Would probably pay for it again, but if you are on a tight budget you should know...:

    Wonderful guide and interpreter!

This is a great experience! See unique Tokyo neighborhoods and learn about life for a REAL Sumo. Our guides were very patient and attentive with us. We will recommend this tour to all of our friends.

    Huge thumbs up!

It was a one-of-a-kind experience to visit the world of Sumo wrestling with a real pro! We also enjoyed the tour of Senso-ji temple and the sumo museum! If you're traveling with boys, this tour is a must!
