Shabuzen in Shibuya, Tokyo, is a shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant that appeared in the movie "Lost in Translation". The restaurant has a subtle, relaxing atmosphere that is popular among locals and foreigners. The architecture of the restaurant utilizes refined patchworks of stones to delineate an authentic Japanese look.
The culinary experience at Shabuzen is known to be "luxurious" and "fulfilling". Shabuzen serves several styles of meals- including an all you can eat buffet style and an a la carte individual plate ordering style.
There are several different types of delicately marbled Japanese beef available, which can be ordered along with sets of fresh vegetables and rice. Popular types of meat include the notorious Kobe Wagyu beef and Shimoburi beef. Beautifully dressed kimono waitresses will politely take your order.
Shabuzen has 160 seats, with 100 table and 40 tatami seats. Reservations for group lunch is mandatory. You can book your seats through our restaurant reservation service and enjoy the delicious taste of Shabuzen's meal set!
Shabuzen is open every day except 12/31 and 1/1. It operates under the following schedule:
Monday-Friday: 17:00-24:00 (L.O. 22:30)
Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays: 17:00-23:00 (L.O. 22:00)
Average cost of dinner per person: 6,000-7,999 JPY
