It was a great experience. The food was delicious and the the service was really great. Even when it's a bit expensive, it was worth it.

    Lived to see another day

This was our first time eating the deadly fugu, and we managed to survive. We went with the 33,000 yen course menu, and were so full. It seems like we each had half a fish prepared for us in various ways: sashimi, fried, hot pot, and porridge using all parts of the fish: flesh, skin, roe, etc. The fish was very light in flavor, with a slight chewiness to it, much like 'hirame' (flounder), and sadly I didn't feel any of the toxin to remind me how dangerous this fish is -- it must be that the chef is so good at preparing it.

The service was excellent too. Our English speaking server explained everything in detail to us, along with answering any of our questions. And at the end of the meal, he and the chef saw us out the door and waved goodbye.

    A great experience!

Everything checked out great, barely made it to the restaurant on time but when we got there right on the dot. Glad they made the reservations because we had a little trouble finding the place. But if you want FUGU, definitely go here, place is intimate and personal. You also want to go to a place that knows how to prepare it!!
