    Absolutely Delicious!

Sushi Masuda was amazing we had a 13 course meal, each piece was unique and as delicious as the last. The chef was very informative and spoke good English. Would highly recommend, was one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had.

    Masuda knows his fish

It is a small boutique shop at the basement. Once I entered I was warmly welcomed by the staff and brought to the bar seat.
As a frequent customer of omakase at sushi bar, I think Masuda knows his fish well and has excellent technique of preparing them to bring out the real flavors. He also got the essence of jiro- strong vinegar rice with relatively harder texture to keep your appetite going, yet the vinegar kind of unbalanced the dish and sometimes too strong to go with certain types of fish. Overall good experience!

    Good but could be better

Most of dishes are good enough as a 1-star restaurant, but a little margin for 2-star rated. In the lunch, I liked his cooked fish more than sushi. Some sushi were not so balance on rice and fish. Good and delicious, but could be better.
Masuda must have very high potential to become a master of Sushi. Let's keep looking forward for his progress.

    Amazing, once in a lifetime

If you are a beginner sushi water than you may not enjoy the incredible experience at Masuda Sushi. However if you love sushi and are open minded than you will not regret this experience. All I can say is that sushi will never be the same, and that it changed my idea of sushi. Every bite is an experience in itself and carries you to another universe.

    Awesome experience!

THis was our first 2 michelin star meal and we were not disappointed! The meal was flawlessly executed and we also got a complimentary piece (we wanted to try the Otoro which was not in the Omakase selection that day) and a picture with chef Masuda in the end.
