Wonderful traditional Japanese food experience
the food is amazing and chef would try his best to introduce the food in English, everything is amazing, but it is not that esay to find the restaurant, cause they write their signboard in Japanese
I am afraid to say we are very very disappointed with our experience.
We had the 9 courses menu and we thought it was quite basic.
Not many flavours , not enough textures not amaising
We had many better meals in average Ryokans in the country
Not at all at a 2 star Michelin level for my point of view and I did many in France and around the world.
For the value we did other Tokyo sushis restaurant (Kuybey, kidoguchi) and were much more delighted with th experience.
Sorry but we will not recommand Toyoda
It is very happy experience reserved on VOYAGIN.The reversion is so quick and seasonable on the Internet and all my requests were satisfied .so good.

We were unimpressed. Food was just "so-so". Staff were not friendly. No ambience. The lack of ambience, neutral attitude of staff and "so so" food in no way warranted the cost of approximately $220USD per person. Sorry......

I arrived extra early, but was seated immediately even after I made it clear that I could wait. The host was very kind and accommodating despite my bad Japanese. The other staff were just as kind and were very helpful. This was an incredibly special meal and arguably the best I'd ever had (definitely the best Japanese). The head chef was even nice enough to offer me an extra course when he saw how hungry I was. Nothing but good things to say about my experience here. I hope to visit again very soon.
An unique experience!
I was looking for trying a michelin-stared restaurant in my visit to Tokyo. I found this restaurant, even i could find many reviews about it, we took the opportunity to try it. Its just perfect! Before going take the address in Japanese and make an small research just to don't lose to much time looking for it, but is very close to the Ginza metro station. The place is magic, an small place in a normal city building. The hostess so servicial, smiling and helping us to show the place, put our bags and coats away. The Voyagin made the booking in the counter! was the best of the experience, you have in front a chef preparing all your food. The menus are personalized (printed with the date, that makes me think they have every day different items depending on the items available in the market that morning). The chef explained every single dish and everything was looking and tasting amazing, best japanese food in my life! Mixed of japanese cooking styles, best way to enjoy the experience. We choose sake that was also amazing, the service standards, the set up, everything was like from a movie, they really make you feel special. At the end, like a cherry on the ice cream, chef went out to the lift to say good bye to us, even that the place was packed and he was preparing a lot of food, thats the japanese experience!!! Worth it!
