- Reserve seats at one of the best tempura restaurants in Tokyo.
- Taste a variety of fresh, seasonal seafood and vegetables.
- Watch the chef prepare food in front of you in Edo-mae style.
Chef Fukamachi had been making tempura professionally for 34 years before opening his own restaurant in 2002. His style of cooking is called "Edo-mae" where tempura is prepared in front of customers. All of the fresh ingredients are delicately fried one by one for customers to enjoy and savor the real and authentic taste of tempura.
The oil and tempura source material are blended by the chef himself from an original recipe. Regular customers cannot get enough of the rich flavor and come back again and again. One of their specialities is "uni" or "sea urchin" which is fried inside "oba" (shiso) leaves. This gives the tempura a crunchy outside but a rich and juicy center. You'll be delightfully surprised by the delicious taste of the seasonal vegetables prepared expertly for each customer. Each vegetable's and seafood's tempura style is unique and guests can enjoy the flavors that complement every ingredient.
This quiet, small and cozy restaurant is perfect for dates, special occasions and entertaining guests. It also has variety of drinks for patrons to enjoy. Many people say champagne, Japanese sake and white wine combine the best with tempura. Celebrate your special day at one of the best tempura restaurants Japan has to offer.
