    Great experience

Our guide was so nice and helpful! It was a great way to explore Tokyo, we had a blast.

Go kart fun in central tokyo

What a blast! Get kitted up in your pick of amusing onesies and character outfits, then hit the streets in your very own Go-kart. It was an exhilarating hour, went by so quickly and the guide was great. A definite "must-do" in Tokyo.

A personalised go-cart experience in Tokyo!

While the costumes weren't as flash as the competitor's, the advantage of going with A Kart Akihabara is that you're not stuck in a big group of 'Marios' who may or may not know how to drive a cart. We had a personalised tour, just the two of us and our guide. We got to decide where we wanted to go, we got to go FAST, and our guide took great photos of us with various Tokyo sites behind us.
We had a great time and thoroughly recommend this adventure!

    Excellent fun!

We had a great time driving through Tokyo while wearing costumes. Our guide took pictures of us and was very accommodating with our time slot. We were scheduled to ride at 10am, but asked if he had another group. He said yes and agreed to have us return at the later time to ride a as a big group.

The only compliant I have is the lack of costumes. It's not a large selection and he didn't have any mario characters.

Overall, we felt safe the whole time driving through the city and would recommended it to anyone.

It was a good experience and I expected to be able to try the next time!!

    Pretty awesome

Such a great experience go karting around the streets of Tokyo alongside road traffic. We opted for a 2 hr session with a guide which was perfect for our group of 7 people. You get to dress up too but keep in mind that this go kart company doesn't have Mario characters. Overall a fun experience recommended !

Go Karts were great, experience was a bit weird.

The actual Go Karting was great! Zipping through the streets of Tokyo was a great way to see parts of the city you may never see.

I felt a bit weird and pressured when we started the tour. We signed up for the 2 hour excursion, but they overbooked their 5pm slot so they needed our Karts earlier. They said we could have 1.5 hours with a guide thrown in for free - however it ended up being about 75 minutes because it took a while to get going.

I felt pressured to accept this offering because, which I found out after, they needed the kart for the 5pm group that was coming in. Or at least it seemed the 2 hour option wasn't really available anymore.

They also took pictures of us, but it took 4-5 days of emailing to get the pictures sent because the AirDrop transfer they tried to do did not work.

Great experience actually being in the karts, just make sure you get what you pay for.

    One of a kind experience!

We had such a great time, I highly recommend hiring a guide to take you around. It would NOT be fun without one. We did ours after subdown when the streets were all lit up. So pretty and such a nice way to see the city. I also recommend an evening weekday because there was much less traffic. Highly recommend this adventure!

    Really fun experience

Husband and I booked this while on our honeymoon. Was a very fun experience, would definitely do it again. Our host, Dai, made us feel safe the whole time, we were given good instructions. We started in Akihabara and went through Asakusa, Ueno, and had a break at tokyo sky tower to have pictures taken. The only thing is the petrol fumes can get a bit overwhelming after a while, consider wearing a mask? Don't expect much of a "tour" as it isn't possible to talk while driving, it was more of getting a feel for Tokyo streets and neighbourhoods.

    Had so much fun!

Great fun to go around Tokyo! 1 hr was good preriod of time for us as we don't have much time.

I wish there are Mario costume available :)
