    1st time at owl cafe

What an experience. I always worry if the animals are treated well. In this case no doubt about it. Well kept, organised and knowledgable staff. We had a hoot of a time. Pun intended.

    Super cute and fun

We had a great time at the owl cafe. It was fairly easy to find with google maps (there are also street signs for it, which are helpful). The staff was friendly and spoke good English, and everything was clearly explained. The drinks are okay, nothing super amazing, but pleasant. I would definitely recommend getting there as early as possible so you can be first with the owls, I can imagine after a full day of being held and handled they might get tired. Also I felt kind of bad for the owls that so many random people come by every day, but they are obviously well cared for, and easy to pet, hold, take pictures with etc. you can tell the staff really love them. Another note, there will be other people in the "owl room" with you, so it's not a totally private thing, you need to share the space and it's kind of cramped. Overall a very unique and cute experience and I'm glad we went!

By far best experience I have had!

This was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had! The cafe was kept in immaculate condition, and the owls seemed very well taken care of. Even though the cafe employees spoke little English, they were very helpful, and engaging with customers.
Being able to interact with the owls was beyond special. We got to hold, pet, and even hug the owls, and at the end watched a mini training session as we finished our drinks.
Highly recommend to anyone who has time to go! Definitely something to remember for years to come!

Beautiful owls but a bit hectic in general.

It was a lovely café and the owls were amazing. It was a bit hectic in the beginning though: people with wrong reservations, people without reservations coming in and out.

After your drink, you can go in the room with the owls together with the other people that reserved in the same hour. You can then pet the owls and hold them on your arm, but it can be a bit crowded with everyone standing in the same room at the same time.

The owls also didn't have a very long cord, so I felt a bit sorry for them. But they were definitely in good health and had everything they needed.

The staff in general was very friendly and welcoming.
The owls were beautiful and the small ones were extremely cute!

    Worth doing again!

I enjoyed seeing and holding the owls so much last year, I'm doing it again! Very easy to find, right across the street from Harajuku Station.

    Cutest ever!

Owls there were so sweet and cute. The staff was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and it's next to a really nice part of Tokyo so hanging out after and before is a blast. Be sure to reserve the line is always long.

It's a cafe. It has owls. It's fantastic.

    Adorable owls!

Was really amazing to be able to hold and pet the owls! A great photo opportunity. The cafe provided instructions on how to handle the owls in English. The cafe itself is very small and the drinks on offer are very simple.

Glad I made reservations in advance as the cafe seemed fully booked and I noticed several people get turned away at the door.

    Great experience!

We had a great experience at the Owl's cafe in Harajuku. First you get a drink while they feed the owls and when they rest a bit. Then you get in a room with couple of really big owls, and some smaller ones. Big ones are heavy and a little bit scary but small ones are so cute and adorable. You can hold them and pet them and they enjoy and relax even though they're surrounded by people. Definitely a recommendation if you find yourself near Harajuku area.
