- Please do not bring strollers or luggage to the market, as the passageways are very narrow.

Essential Tour Around the Market
Kiyoshi was a great guide and a genuine bloke! My wife and i had a great tour and was good that we had him as our guide so we didn't over step any boundaries in an unknown territory. The security is very strict and you wouldn't want to get kicked out!
Great personalized experience!
Worth the time and money. The 3.5 hour tour is plenty of time and you see a lot. The tour guide was friendly and answered all of our questions. He even translated for us when purchasing goods from the market. He recommended a sushi place which was excellent food. His English is perfect, he does have an accent as he is from Japan and most people do.
Great way to start a trip in Tokyo!
This was a great tour. Kiyoshi was very responsive and easy to find when we got to the fish market. He showed us around the vegetable market, explained the vegetable auction, and then dropped us to a sushi/sashimi breakfast place around 730am which was delicious. When he picked us up again, we walked around the surrounding streets to look at the the shops, it was great having someone who knew where to go where to avoid. This being the first stop for our week vacation in Tokyo, it was a nice tour to get our feet wet. Later on we went into the fish market, it was cool, but similar to other markets if you've seen others, they were pretty strict on no pictures and going in at a certain time but Kiyoshi made sure we were first in line so we didn't have to wait. By the time we left there was a line wrapped around the corner! Overall, I recommend this tour, Kiyoshi was easy to understand and it was nice having a guide for the market, it probably would be very confusing without him!
Great Private Tsukiji Tour - high recommended.
Thanks to Kiyoshi we visited all parts of the famous Tsukiji market including vegetable auctions, inner market, outer market, etc. It was such a learning experience. Kiyoshi speaks English very well and is very knowledgeable about the market. He also recommended us one of the best sushi place in Tsukiji, Sushi Sei Honten, what a gem!
Kiyoshi was an excellent tour guide. We were running late and fortunately he waited for us. The tour was as described, viewing the produce auction, shops within the market and around outside and then info the fish market itself. Kiyoshi was very knowledgeable and pointed out the different types of produce and fish. He also made a recommendation on where to have breakfast. Part of my mission while in the area was to purchase some knives, he advised on the best store and stayed with us while I chose to make sure that everything went well. He also snapped some photos of us during the tour which he kindly sent over. Excellent tour and excellent tour guide!
Fantastic experience to learn what is going on
I would like to thanks Kiyoshi for bringing me around the Tsukiji Market. He is very knowledgeable, gave me useful information to prepare the tour and gave very good explanation about the market. I saw the vegetable auction, walk inside the fish market, saw the frozen tuna being cut, looked at interesting shops, and of course enjoy fresh sashimi, which I love it!
Cannot say enough about how amazing this tour was! Kiyoshi was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show us all parts of the market while educating us on the different types of produce/product regional to Japan. He also knew the best spots in the market to stop for a bite or drink. Highly recommend this tour with Kiyoshi, what a treat!
Huge rip off.
Saw and heard many amazing things!
Kiyoshi was on time and super knowledgable about all aspects of the market and of course the culture. He had many friends and acquaintances throughout the market that he introduced me to that would provide additional insight to my many questions.
At first we perused the outer market as that was all that was accessible before 10am. And please note - the outer market is wonderful. When Kiyoshi saw how much I wanted to get into the inner market to see the action around the fish he saw to it that we were able to go deeper and see some amazing things happening with the fish that was coming in and to take a look at the chefs and vendors selecting their goods for the day.
Amazing tour! Lots of learning. Lots of beauty and sushi for breakfast! Wear good warm shoes to keep your feet dry. Highly recommend!
